First Smiley Dreams

At two weeks old, our son started smiling in his sleep. Mary Ann came over, and with camera in hand, took a billion pictures of Alpin and all his baby parts. She also caught these precious smiles while he was sleeping. Priceless.

Alpin's First Bath

Not much explanation needed here. He definitely did not love his first bath, but since he was all clean we couldn't resist taking lots of photos afterwards.

First Days at Home

Our first days at home were tough, to be sure, but our perfect little son makes it all worth it. As we learn how to breastfeed and change diapers and swaddle (the list goes on), there is such joy in cuddling and staring at our son. He is such a good sleeper, and we actually have to wake him to feed him. Grandma Leta, Uncle Davey and Aunt CC are lifesavers the first days at home, bringing food every day and helping with the baby. Grandma Becky came and stayed four days as well, which was a tremendous help. Luckily she didn't mind midnight diaper changes and feedings.
