5 Months Old

Wow, if 4 months seemed like a long month, 5 months flew by in a blink of the eye. We must have just been super busy with work and life, and the beginning of summer. We continue to have adventures with friends, this month was filled with after work BBQ's and picnics in the park.

Alpin continues to grow and change each week. All of a sudden we have a chubby little blonde baby. He is really putting on the pounds now that he is spitting up much less (13lbs & 24"!). He is still working on crawling, getting his legs up and pushing, with his face planted in the ground. It's pretty hilarious but he doesn't think so.

His hand eye coordination is developed to the point where he is finally loving playing with toys and rattles, especially Poly Polar Bear. It means he is super interested in everything within arms reach (or within eyesight), and is also easily distracted. His favorite toy is his tiny toes, which he sucks on whenever possible. He can also take his pacifier in and out of his mouth easily.

We get him to squeal easily, and he just started giggle laughing, especially when we kiss his belly and face. It is so precious. He is still so smiley, and loves people and other children. He also loves it when we sing to him.
